I used smokeless tobacco for years and never understood if you take in calories when you “dip” or if you’re just expel pin and absorption of harmful toxins. I would be at a healthier weight, but quit smokeless tobacco is the right thing to do right now because I will probably nibble on candy to replace tobacco? What a loaded question, but does anyone out there have answers? I’m more interested in the fact that if there are calories in smokeless tobacco, and if someone can prove yes or no to that. I know that I have a lot of risk by the continued use and I’ll quit when I want, I can believe. I have not had a whole week to date. Response from calories and please provide evidence, if possible!

there might be, but i don’t think it is a large calorie intake.
if you are under a diet i don’t think it would affect you much.
take care!
Yuck. think someone wants to kiss you with having had that crap in your mouth………
You don’t need to replace with candy. Chew sugar free gum.
And calories, it won’t matter. Think of the weight you’ll lose when you get oral cancer and CAN’T EAT.
Calories aren’t your problem bro. Candy is much healthier for you. Calories or not. Think about your family and the shame they’d have walking around with a dad who has no bottom row of teeth or bloches all around his lips and mouth.

In your mouth you have tiny capillaries which absorb the juices of the tobacco. And believe me its not pretty when someone has to have their jaw cut off because of such use. I had an uncle that happened to and he would not even come out of his bedroom after that. And even at that, he still died at a young age. And he was so nice.
Calories are the last thing you have to worry about. I think I could opt out for sugarless candy and gum. All of the toxins and addictive tobacco juices will take time to work themselves out of your system, but look on the hand the consequences which face you if you don’t quit!
